New Century Support Front / Hind Shoes
Many farriers now fit shoes longer and wider at the heels in order to give more support. In the past this would mean using a wider shoe which would add weight to the hoof. To overcome this problem Kerckhaert\\\'s have developed a new design and production process which produces a shoe which is wider at the toe and the heels without adding weight.
The Century Support is a lightweight concave shoe with easy to fit radius clip, the fullering (crease) stops just past the heel nail. This leaves plenty of room for stud holes to be punched or drilled in to the shoes. The nail holes are precisely punched for E head nails with perfect pitch and coarseness, resulting in strong secure nailing.
Available in sizes 2x0, 0 & 1 in 22x08 section and 1, 2 & 3 in a 24x09 section.
