When Strömsholm then became the UK’s sole importer and distributor of the Dutch made Kerckhaert Horseshoes, the business began to grow rapidly.
The style of shoeing horses in the UK has changed over the last 30 years due to the introduction of many different breeds of horses into the country. The many different styles of horseshoes that Kerckhaert manufactures gives the Farrier a choice of shoe for the different type of horses he is asked to work on. New styles of shoes made for the UK market, including the Classic, Century and the Aluminium Kings Plates have become very popular due to their unequalled design and quality.
To keep up with the expanding business, Strömsholm works hard to offer their customers an excellent service. Our polite, well trained staff (including 2 qualified Farriers) are able to offer advice, not only for the shoes but also on the large selection of Farriers tools and equipment that they stock.
Strömsholm is the UK’s largest wholesale company of horseshoes and tools distributing Kerckhaert horseshoes and Strömsholm products to the majority of other Farrier supply companies, so it is easy to collect Kerckhaert shoes or Strömsholm products from a local dealer. They can also be ordered direct from our new purpose built 13000 sq ft warehouse in Milton Keynes or one of their depots.
